What are the steps involved to obtain Dominica citizenship - XIPHIAS Immigration

The process of becoming a Citizen of Dominica is efficient, straightforward and can be easily completed with the support of XIPHIAS Immigration which is an authorized agent for the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CBIU).  The Government is responsible for the execution of the Program which has licensed XIPHIAS Immigration to support you through this process.

STEP 1

Decide how you would wish to invest. An applicant has two options for contribution in order to obtain citizenship. One is the non-refundable investment to the Government’s Economic Diversification Fund (EDF) and the other is by investing in preapproved real estate development.

STEP 2

Contact a qualified and trusted advisor i.e., XIPHIAS Immigration to assist you in the submission of your application which is a licensed agent from the Dominica government.

STEP 3

Collect all the forms and documents that your agent asks relevant to your application. There is no need for traveling to Dominica to attend an interview.

STEP 4

Once your agent confirms you that your application fulfills all the requirements, your application will be submitted to the CBIU.

STEP 5

The CBIU will start processing your application. During this period, a third party diligence agency will perform stringent background checks on the information you have provided. Processing time may vary between 60 and 90 days.

STEP 6

If the CBIU is satisfied that your application fulfills all the criteria, it will submit your application to Dominica’s Prime Minister and Cabinet for its review and final approval.

STEP 7

If approval is successful, you will receive a letter informing you that your application has been approved in principle.

STEP 8

At this point, you should make the relevant investment in the Economic Diversification Fund’s account or in preapproved real estate development.

STEP 9

You will be issued with a certificate of naturalization indicating that you have become a citizen of the Commonwealth of Dominica. Your agent will then apply for your passport.

STEP 10

By receiving your passport, you will be able to travel as a citizen of Dominica.
